Is it a bad thing that it didn’t get included? Will it even be necessary with DOGE in action?
Seems to me a debt ceiling would be irrelevant after Jan 20.
I’ve been trying to reason that one too. No debt ceiling (from my limited understanding of it) would have allowed for Trump to print money for his projects, but with a debt ceiling that would be a different scenario but with the pork feast halted and still no budget – that is a disadvantage to the deep state. I had thought (and only a thought) that Trump played them so they would not renew it and that would push the stock markets down and make it a pathway to go on the gold standard and at the same time get rid of the wall street games played by Blackrock, Vanguard, State Street and the bankers. As the new crypto currencies will also be backed by assets and no more mining out of thin air, and no more fiat thin air dollars. I see a bigger plan unfolding. But that is just my hunch and in no way anything else. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds. I do know that when the moves are over that is where we shall be. How we get there will be quite the ride.
It was explained to me this way. The government counts tax cuts as expenses. Therefore, if Trump wants tax cuts, they will be shown as Federal expense and the debt ceiling will need to be raised to enact them. Tax cuts will boost the economy and produce more tax revenue, but that is not factored in. Of course the left opposes Trump’s economic plan, because if hecis successful, the left’s economic failure will be highlighted.
