  1. Dianne, your blog is so helpful. If we (not just pastors) can just get people to Believe, Trust, have Faith in Our Father, the teachings of Messiah, they would know of, feel The Holy Spirit inside them giving them Power unmatchable by any other from any one/thing ever. Our Power knocks out all fear. I am so thankful for your blog.

  2. It’s not only about fake news but especially about education, or lack thereof. For those born East of the Iron Curtain, mandatory technical education in school, from early years, then forced conscription, even for gals in college, were common inconveniences that at least taught us something about fuel storage. The black market and hoarding were common sense under communism, because store shelves used to be almost always empty.

The real sad news today is that even simulated communism can be life threatening if people lack basic knowledge (no skills required, just knowledge) on survival matters. If this situation reveals something, there are two major holes to cover: schooling and information. This is why mothers (or grandmothers after seeing young mothers pumping gas in plastic bags) need to spend an extra hour detailing the dangers, and this is why digital soldiers need to keep blogging and spreading the real news. Because who can trust the system?

    1. Dianne — Why did Trump endorse the South Carolina GOP Chairman over Lin Wood???

  3. All I know is that hoarders make the rest of us look badly. By that I mean that our closest gas station is 45 minutes away on a not so well maintained gravel road. We always get gas in containers to have in case we run out and don’t have enough to get to town. Now I’m embarrassed to think that others see me as a hoarder. 🙄

    1. Don’t be! You and God knows your situation. That’s all that matters. You’re not a hummer with a full tank and 6 5-gallon cans of gas. LOLGB+

  4. Fully vaccinated people no longer have to wear masks, main while there has been a computer hack on a pipeline that supplies half of all gasoline to the Southeast. Three days later, not a drop of gas in the small town of Richlands. My dearest friend called to see if I need anything, so I go to town and do some major shopping on bread and milk. Had plenty of dried beans and rice as am stocking up on those non-perishable items. Had plenty of diesel for tractor on hand. Not using it much this year. Have lived in Eastern NC since 1985 after moving back from California. Stayed there after getting out of Navy and leaving NC in 1973 after High School. Have survived 15 + hurricanes since. The whole gas thing makes me laugh. People today just don’t know how to “rough it out”. What is going to happen when food supply gets hacked? Lived off rice and beans before! Good thing to stock up on now. There seems to be plenty. Not like toilet paper and gas. They saying it will boost sales in electric cars. Well, while everyone has their cars plugged in, the hackers will go after the electric grid next. Still have wood stove to cook up a pot of beans and rice. Got green onions in garden too. Got some soda crackers in plastic zip lock bags. Only an idiot would would put gas in a plastic bag! Need to get some shotgun shells though. Saw three doe with fawns in back corner of field today. The Lord has blessed my little neck of the woods. Stay strong and keep the faith. LOLGB+

  5. Actually, this is so very sad. We saw that these were fear fed bad decsions by people who watch fake news mostly….and this is the real herd mentality. This is why they call it culling the herd and laugh at people and why those with discernment are a threat to their culling program. Those with eyes to see work hard at opening other peoples eyes to see the madness….and because people all have various strengths, weaknesses, old bad things that took place in their lives that trigger panic and anxiety…this is what we have. Many Pastors have failed in helping others to have faith not fear, mainly due to a third degree drill to see where they are in their faith, heart, and thinking….have you ever heard some of the drilling to see if a person is saved….as though the Pastor even has that right to question a person who now believes? How many are still doing the left behind checklist of going down a list of things and condemning the person…like that will bring them to the Lord? The list that goes…”Have you ever told a lie?” the person thinks and answers…yes. Then the person with the checklist tells them, then you are a liar and headed for hell. Then asks the next question….This is not of the Lord, nor never has been. This is of man and the devil combo. In my opinion. Come follow me….the Lord said. How many of us can say, “Come follow me” do as I do and not head for a few cliffs? We must pray unceasing and know that Jesus is in us as he leads us to the battle field to take a stand for our God given liberties when he calls us to do so.

  6. Sorry, Dianne, but these are the same useless pigs who caused the TP hoarding last year! I’m trying to be a good Christian but I can’t see the Lord bestowing blessings on these wastes of space! Our savior said to tithe and our blessings would be received back 100 fold and “shaken and pressed-down, and filled to overflowing”! That is the Word of God! I think of the parable about the 3 servants and the talents. I believe Jesus would say be gone, you evil, wicked people! Bless you, for all you do! MelJ🤗👣✝🙏

    1. I don’t mean to intrude here in this conversation. But please consider how you phrased your stated that predetermined who the Lord bestows blessings. I really don’t think you intended it that way so much and it was typed out based on emotional feelings after reading the blog. Which in a way can bring us back to the message Dianne was trying to convey. These people reacted out of fear, you reacted out of strong feelings of reading about these incidents. People have been subjected to things that are truly frightening in recent years, the fear that is setting in is real and if you look at the greater picture people’s fear is quite justified. If you are not experiencing at least some level of fear with the crazy stuff that is happening all around us on a daily basis. I’m going to try not to judge these people for their fears and their natural survival instincts that kicked. They lesson here is think things through before reacting drastically. Drastic decisions are most likely the complete opposite of the best course of action to take.
Just my 2 cents not trying y try o single anyone out. And no I did not hoard gas or TP. We did fill our cars of course.

      1. Z you bring up a great point and subject. As I did touch on it briefly, but each one of us have different upbringings and past experiences that shape our present decisions. A good example of this are family members, (soldiers) who return from war with PTSD. What they have seen and experienced has now reshaped their responses to everyday events that those who did not go to war and see such things take as normal sounds and events. Something as simple as a car backfiring in a parking lot can send someone with post traumatic stress disorder looking for cover and have a flood of memories surge through them putting them in a state of fight or flight and major anxiety attack in recalling horrible events. The senses are heightened. And so often those who dealt with obstacles all their lives and overcoming them have little emphathy for those who need help at every turn. In a college test for how you are best suited, I tested well for management, with one weak area that to be affective I would have to work on. That area was expectations of others as I had the ability to put in long hours until the task was done, and I would look at those who were tired at 5:00 and not able to put in overtime as sloughing off on the job. And or those who worked slow as sloughing off as I had a tendency to work fast paced. I was told that the ability to access, manage and multi task was needed to excel in management and I did that well, but not everyone had that ability nor the skill sets to do it. So, now we are dealing with people of all walks, all levels of skill sets, all levels of emotional baggage, and (WE ALL HAVE SOMETHING), and I have to remember that on the blog. Something…that in normal times, I had forgotten to think about myself. This is causing me to have to work on my own weak areas again. Thanks Z for pointing that out larger. I had thought that there is no difference between patriots/veterans and Christians the way they have been categorized…for both are interchangeable….the difference is the christian veteran patriot knows that all it takes is a split second taking your eye off the enemy to have all hell break loose…and Christian who have never served can be to passive at war. Frustrations rise when the ones needing protecting breathe down the backs at the ones they need to protect them. And rightfully so. We must look at the value in both and in all. Be patient with one another.

      2. Z & Dianne… I’m with you both. Gotta say… the car fires triggered flashbacks for me of my days as a 1st responder & a call-out one dark spring night… Trapped man, fully engulfed car, loved ones showing up on scene. So, as I read through the above article, my mind shifts to “How do I square those memories with Dianne’s message.”. For me, it goes back to compassion for a fellow human being in crisis… no matter how stupid the decisions they made led them into the crisis. We’re fallable humans who need to know others stand with us, regardless of our errors in judgment. God help us all. Amen!
