Recall the whole world is a stage and we are all actors… Are you ready to watch the Olympics Global Ceremony? Something is happening in France. Will we see the clues? Just a couple of weeks ago it was in flames. Or were they just practicing for the big day?

I went to a historic home/garden tour here in Charleston South Carolina yesterday, a home of one of the signers of the declaration. While I enjoyed the grounds and the tours, one of the speakers taught about slavery and how it began and how their life would have been as a slave. How their own people had entrapped them and sold them into slavery. The speaker went on to say how the population of slaves increased and how the slave owners began feeling scared that the slaves would slice the owners neck in their sleep. So the owners began alloying more “freedoms” like getting married and having children. The speaker asked why we thought the owners would do that? My answer was loyalty, with a family you would be controllable. He said yes, but they also sold the children when they were 8 years old to other slave owners for money. After he finished his speech about how the gardens have stood the test of time , and in his opinion, many great men (meaning political politicians) had graced the gardens. His final question to the crowd was how would you feel being a slave? He pointed to me for an answer, so I said my answer would be somewhat controversial. I would say that yes, that’s how slavery started, but we are all slaves of the system. He was surprised and said while he could appreciate the answer, he felt that he had free will and he wasn’t a slave. I didn’t argue, I just shook my head, understanding that he couldn’t grasp that his slave number was his social security number and his mother sold him as a commodity, not as an 8 year old, but at birth. The rest of the day walking around the gardens, all I could think about was yes, there are some great men walking around the gardens today, but not for the reason the speaker stated. No, it’s because by the grace of The Most High God, WE ARE walking around bringing light while being set free. Some of us are even blessed enough to see it. I love you guys ❤️
