You can insult it, scream at it, lie about it, and deny it with all your breath. The battle of 1812 tried to destroy it and all it stood for, but what emerged from within the effort to destroy this great nation and stop our star spangled banner from waving…. emerged a national anthem that was to boldly ring out across the land from that day forward. It’s not just a song. It is the blood of a people put to music and prose. Those who sacrificed all to insure the freedom for their people and for their people’s children’s generations to come.? It’s not about President Trump. It is about a nation blessed and preserved by the bravery of many and the grace of our Lord.
It is time to stop the ignorance of a people who know not its’ history. Praise God we have a seated President who knows it!
