  1. It seems every time I think I find a quiet spot in walks someone! They don’t even have a reason it’s like they just want to watch me! Even late at night after everyone is sleeping I still feel like I have to hurry before someone discovers I am gone or up! I hope the lord doesn’t mind but the most peaceful time is laying quietly in bed so not to disturb the household I even pull the sheet up over my head and talk and pray that way! I hope that’s not being disrespectful I know it is said to pray on your knees or to find a closet, or pray with 2 people together, but I know God has heard my prayers in the past and my closet is the covers pulled over my head it seems. I just worry. I can go outside for a bit and pray in the evening. Maybe when someone comes in while I am trying to pray I should ask if they want to pray with me! A Grand idea, Thanks, Holy Spirit! Amen

  2. The temptations of Christ more importantly are prophetic to show us what and how to be ready for Anti-Christ, Satan incarnate, when all humanity will be tested of “who” we worship, the True God or the Beast! The first temptation is whether you can Buy or Sell by taking or refusing the MARK! If the ability to feed yourself and family does not persuade obedience to the Beast, then your job, house and assets will be taken to forfeit your portion of the Beast kingdom and reward the wicked. And lastly, the persecution will be enough to want for death and suicide to escape, knowing God cares for His Sheep, “none will fall that He does not know”! This is why Jesus says be Watchful, Ready and Prepared to have a surplus of Oil to endure and if necessary, to “not love your life and not shrink from death”! “Here I am Lord, send me” Maranatha, Lord Jesus

  3. Very interesting last week , it was about the number 9
Did you happen to see R T Kendal at Mark Driscoll’s You tube last week? Interesting about Ishmael being the charismatic movement and Isaac the great awakening

  4. Thank you Dianne for this report. Thank you Tammi Kay for sharing in response. Thank you everyone for for comments, suggestions and understanding. I too have been dealing with judgemental issues within my family. I’m feeling lead to address the issue, mostly because I’ve been confronted with “I don’t like this distance between us” by one that has used this judgemental attitude with confrontational action on paper to divide the family. I know she thinks she is being righteous in judgements, but it is driving family members apart and some that truly love the Lord. I have no intention to accuse, but just to say by these actions, I am led to keep my distance. But I also had an ah ha moment, when I realized I am judging her and the others in her circle of their judgemental attitudes. Doesn’t help that my surrounding family members are angry and judgemental of the judgemental ones as well and they would prefer me to stay angry and judging on this issue.
I’m sure I am being lead and taught by the Holy Spirit as this topic has been on my mind so much lately, and here it is in Dianne’s report and in several other things I’ve read lately including scripture.
I tell ya, family can be really hard to deal with. It takes a lot of work over and over again to learn how to handle things like judgemental attitude (mine and theirs) and to forgive them and change my attitude. It helps to remember that God loves them as much as he loves me and he doesn’t want to lose any of us.

  5. God gave me the opportunity to witness to a young man the other day. He is in his early twenties and the son of a friend. He approached me and asked me if I was religious. I told him I was NOT religious but Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and I asked him, “How about you?” He said that he believed but he wasn’t sure how to pray. I told him that praying was like talking to your best friend, for that is who Jesus is. The conversation lasted over an hour and he said he liked listening to me because my bible stories were interesting. I told him that the Holy Bible is a VERY Interesting book. He asked what bible he should read and I offered he look into the KJV or a more modern version of the KJV. He asked about baptism and church and I explained that wherever 2 or more are gathered in his name could be considered church. I also shared that I saw an article in the news about a group of young Christians in GA baptizing each other in the back of pickup trucks on the campus of a university. I told him, ‘God is calling you and all you need to do is answer and open your heart to him and have a personal relationship with Jesus.’ I was so grateful to have had that opportunity and thanked God for it. Amen.

    1. As a side note I found out later his mother was attacked at work (she works with behaviorally challenged individuals) and he was very upset by that. I believe God put me there for that young man. All of us are struggling in our lives with family and friends. Hating the sin and remembering to love the sinner and pray for them is what Jesus wants us to do. Forgive to be forgiven. Faith, hope and charity and the greatest of these is charity (love). Amen.

  6. Thank you for this teaching. I must admit… this post convicted me. I really try not to judge as it’s the thing that bothers me the most when it’s done to me. I think it’s harder for me not to judge the people I know the best and find it’s easier not to judge strangers. I think the part that’s harder with family is when they take advantage of my hospitality and be generousness. It’s when my feelings are hurt and am offended that I have issues judging them. Lord help me!

    1. With that said, I have a question. How are we supposed to deal with people who overstep and take advantage? And- is it judging a person when my husband and I talk about how lazy, expectant, and demanding a house guest was? We’ve been talking about it all day and last night and are at a loss as to what to do about it. We were not mean or anything. In fact- the worse it got the nicer we were. Even when we were exhausted with all the work we’d done with no help, we did more. And even then we sent them home with 100 pounds of meat. We love them. That’s why it hurts. So my question is this. Is it judging another to talk about how their actions hurt and annoyed us? And, what is the right thing to do in this situation? It seems to get worse the more patient we are. Literally. The more we give, the more that is expected.

      1. Judging, as in characterizing a person’s worth or potential as a human being, or assuming where that soul will spend eternity based solely on their current actions is not the same thing as calling things for what they are. If someone is being lazy, there’s no harm in saying so. Overused statement I know, but… it is what it is. We are supposed to mark those who cause division and avoid them. I can think of at least one situation in the bible where Christ asked a hypothetical question; and when the answer was given, He said, “Though hast rightly judged”.

        1. Thanks! I remember that! I think God has helped me stay away more since the problem. We hardly see them but it hurts….

      2. I almost forgot, and this scripture used to be printed on the knife sharpener we use when we harvest our food supply. 2Thessalonians, 3:10. “For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.” I think you should invite yourself to those folks house you gave the meat to for a barbeque. A few times!

      3. Someone once said to me, ‘As Christian believers, we don’t have a right to be offended’.
I still ponder that statement often…but it has truly helped me in being able to dismiss situations and people’s behavior that would get me all wound up and judging, where I would definitely lose my peace!! I have come to the conclusion that judging begins in being offended.
To address the other situation…you aren’t required to do more because the house guest is lazy. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Perhaps in this case, less is more.☺️

        1. We do walk a fine rope in all of that don’t we. I looked up a scripture because I couldn’t quote it about not letting anger last beyond sun down. Ephesians 4: 26“Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, 27nor give [g]place to the devil. 28Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.” The Lord knows we are in the flesh and striving to be good. Smile. I don’t like to hurt anyone and often allow far too much. But, I never feel guilty about that. Only feel guilty about words I said that I should not have said. Then I apologize. I don’t like failing the test of patience. Sometimes it is hard in the flesh. I agree with you in this case less is more. Smile.

        2. I need to add my finishing thought to my comment about offenses.☺️ If anyone had a ‘right’ to be offended, it was Jesus. He was treated brutally! But He, with His perfect love and forgiveness, laid down His life for all of our offenses. Why would we take them back? After all the phrase is usually, ‘I take offense with that.’

      4. There is nothing wrong with sharing your thoughts with your spouse about house guests. You did what was good from your heart like giving them food a hundred pounds of meat is a huge gift at this time. Huge. You felt good about doing that. It sounds like you were unappreciated you sensed the guest was toward your hospitality. They may have been of the mindset that as a guest they didn’t have to do anything to help contribute. Many are of the school that as a guest, you are waited on and it would be an insult to assist. As in a wedding customs of the Jews, guests did not do anything, the servants did the work. Not saying that was the case… but in today’s society, it would have been nice to have them offer to help. When I have guests I don’t expect them to do anything. But that’s just me and the way I was raised. Guests are my guests. Now even family, I like to cater to them. Like if I invite them to dinner I don’t expect them to help. However, if family pops in… that’s different. We hang and do whatever. If we eat, I don’t expect them to do the dishes, but I do expect them to take their plates to the kitchen. Unless they are a child. Smile. It is all in what you are accustomed to doing. But to your question… it is healthy to talk it out and see where it was either being taken advantage of or if you just felt that it was because it was so much work for you?? That being said, If you both, being kind hearted feel taken advantage of… it sounds like you were. Not knowing if the guests were family or friends… family is touchy… friends are easier to be too busy for guests. Smile. Be not unequally yoked. Being nice to others doesn’t always mean hanging out with them. You knew then in your heart… and when you take it to the Lord in prayer, you will have your answer as to how to handle future times with them. The blessing is with you for giving from your heart. I know you didn’t load them up resenting it… you would have never done that. Smile. Your heart is good. Sometimes you need to talk and figure things out we all do. Just don’t let it escalate into resentment and ruin all of your good works. Smile.

        1. Thank you! This was a family member who I love but is a really tough house guest. And I really don’t mind doing all the things as it’s my love language. I like to cook and care for others. The hard part is when they seem not to appreciate the hard work but expect more. Patience is a virtue and I am getting lots of practice,

          1. I believe you’re running a homestead farm correct? This is just a suggestion, as our family is also trying to re-learn many of the life skills our grandparents took for granted. Try a work day. If you are culling some of your own animals, or harvesting crops, invite friends and family to come help. You will find out real quick who appreciates hard work. Around here in the winter we used to have hog killing time. The sound of that may sound crude to some; but it really was a time of great fellowship and sharing, in both bounty and labor. People you can count on are priceless. People with entitlement attitudes, though you may love them, will take away both your energy, and your joy. If you’re in charge of as many animals as you say you are, you’re going to need all the energy you can get! I wrote all of this understanding that there are different standards of etiquette for different situations; but if you could somehow manage to get your difficult, unappreciative loved one to see a glimpse of what actually goes into running a farm, perhaps their attitude would change. They could learn a lot from both you and your animals.

            1. Yes, we are running a farmstead with cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, and rabbits. That’s a really good idea to get family to help with the culling. We are raising a pig for them and it makes sense they help with the processing. They say they are coming to help although I’m unsure how much help they will provide.

              1. Sometimes the ones you least expect will be the most helpful. On the whole ‘judging’ subject, I’ve been humbled more than once. Not long ago, we were on a return trip from picking up farm supplies and stopped in at a large thrift shop. While we were there some young girls came in who did not look to be the type who would be interested in any old-fashioned skills or objects. There I was, already judging them by their appearance. What did they take the most interest in? – The two old sewing machines for sale. In listening to them, it was obvious they were quite serious about sewing. Sewing! I firmly believe there is an increasing desire for knowledge of the old ways in our younger generation. This gives me great hope. This past weekend my wife and I were cleaning out my grandparent’s house. The kitchenware and utensils alone painted a historical picture of the transition from a do-it-yourself lifestyle to that of consumerism. My point in all this is that the old days really weren’t that long ago; and we may, by necessity, have to return to many of those ways. You are ahead of the curve by being the owner of a farm. I hope you will be able to operate it, at least in part, by the old concept of labor sharing, and not the agritourism route, where folks just pay admission to see pretty animals. A working farm is not just some live display of a bygone era to gawk at, as if things couldn’t ever be that way again. I think things will be that way again. An old man told me once, “Son, the only thing that’s going to get peoples’ attention is when they go to the grocery store and there’s nothing on the shelf.” I don’t fear, because I am a believer in God, but I have to admit that the picture that old man painted with his words doesn’t seem so far-fetched these days!

            2. That is excellent JW! I think Tammi has a big heart and it is wonderful. I show my love by feeding people, my grandmother said she showed her love through her food. Sometimes though you feel like you are not cared for in deed or thoughts by others that is when you wonder Why and what should I do? I am not sure what I say is in respect of what Tammi says but I feel what she has felt. It’s ok!

      5. Also, I have had my share of demanding and lazy house guests. The kind where you have to take deep breathes and ask the Lord for patience. Sometimes it is a test of patience and a lesson in understanding of others and how their minds think. (Nice way to put certain personality and behavioral issues. Smile.

        1. I agree that this is a test of my patience and ability to keep my mouth shut when I’m annoyed. It’s part of the blessing I’m supposed to give… giving because the Lord told me to do so in spite of the person’s attitude or lack of gumption. I am grateful for all the sound advice I get here. The fellowship that happens in the comments of this blog is special. I feel like the readers of this blog are my friends who I hope to meet in person one day.

          1. Me too! I am late to these comments but I Love the comfort our community of friends here give!

      6. Tammi, I put on Pastor Melissa Scott while I was having dinner, and this just happened to be the one I chose to watch… and it fits exactly what your situation is and what we were talking about in this blog and other recent ones. Please watch it all for it is all edifying and touches on your many questions. But if time is a factor… go into about 37 minutes in. https://youtu.be/flOPaCsQVsA God bless you and all of us for we all have the very same questions. Smile.

      7. It is the same, the more they hurt us the more we give. The worse their actions the more we try to do to help. The worse they make us feel the more I try to help and do, I just kept saying and showing them we love them. But we are still the bad ones. It is hard to shake off the hurt they’ve done. At that point I look up or go inside myself and say to God it is yours to deal with, I give it to you and if I should do something show me what I should do.

    2. Tammy,
You’re coming in loud and clear.
It has been my observation, the more we are obedient to the masters call of service to others, the uglier they become. I too have a family member that displays selfishness on a major scale. The Lord has poured in me His Grace to stand and watch in silence. It is of my opinion they are truly judging theirselves. That is what the Lord showed me. Jesus stood in silence in humbleness of heart. He divided the person from their sin. It truly floors me at how ugly and manipulative they are. “ whatever you do, do for the Glory of God.” No one can counterfeit that …either you have it ..flow from the Holy Spirit or you don’t. I was at first mad and hurt. But by His Mercy and Grace he showed me I am not of this world anymore but everything that comes from the heart of God is my desire. Your gift of service was unto the Lord not your family member. Who else could impact selfishness in this person but Tammy Kay with overflowing love for Her Lord. A scripture comes to mind. “When sin reaches its fullness”
Put on your Armor, it is God breathed and kept in place by His Power. It is the refining of His most precious living stone. Met for The Masters use. It’s our families that requires our most prized possession “Jesus”.

      Love and wish you Joy
      ❤️❤️🎶

  7. I agree we should love people and be an example because the Holy Spirit will do the rest. We should share the Gospel and not point out sin. The Holy Spirit will convict someone of their sin and we are not perfect ourselves so it would be self-righteous to do so. I don’t think saying someone’s sin is ok and give support to it would be meat either though. But I think what you said we are to love the person and not the sin is the way to win. 🙏❤

  8. So, Dianne; undeniably a deep and worthy Scriptural dive of this blog along with the last 2.
But what’s up with HRC looking quite well on more than one news outlet this morning, flapping about how seemingly cozy Pres. DJT is / has been / wants to “rule” like Vladimir?!
I thought she – and several others – had met a full measure of justice, as you blogged about a few months ago?🧐
I can’t remember the source you indicated.
My ultimate question is: “are they, or are they not” being “justified.”
Or are we now too full of “2.0’s” to know the difference?!🧐👌🏼
And, is it possible that DJT is actually NOT really “in charge” and has to let it ALL play out?
I.e. his dialect of “we have it all” might mean something different.🧐🧐
    🍱🙏🏼❤️🎵🎶

    1. You know something, I think there are way too many weird videos out there
Claiming far too much information as truth / reality. Some of My friends do nothing
But watch Rumble and send me far-fetched stuff and they believe it because it’s on rumble
or youtube— just like 2020 lockdown videos — which I got hooked on.
I don’t waste my time anymore— I would rather Read books 📚 older ones especially
C.S. Lewis and Edgar Cayce are more interesting than the junk videos which are far fetched.
They appear upset because I attend Sunday Mass — I sing 🎶 to Our Lord and pray 🙏
I go to 1 church ⛪️ only that is where my childhood was and it’s familiarity which is
Comforting to reminisce on earlier times which were pleasant fond memories.
The flack is abnormal — something is wrong with them — it’s not me.
I don’t ever attempt to convert anyone— they do — all former Catholics — they can be the worst.
What happened to mind your own business
Regarding Swillery— too many videos show transformation pics — are they manipulated?
It’s the Internet — who knows — video and photo manipulation always was a popular game
Photography schools show you how to do it!
I am not guessing this or that and I was reminded— people through out the ages believed
They were in end times. Don’t dwell on something you can’t control — just be positive
in God —look to do kind acts — be grateful for what you have and Thank God, don’t blame HIM
for shortfalls in life — work for HIM — JESUS is the best role model ever!

    2. All of this is becoming more and more questionable
They can manipulate photos and videos easily to make you believe
anything or confuse you. Messages can be purposely used propoganda
to reenforce a following — “we have it all” it all has to play out ….
      Time will Tell
Trump is getting unfair treatment legally, it’s obvious they want his reputation,
properties, money 💰— it’s hard fighting a corrupt system manipulated by
      lawfare and not Justice.
Hillery needs to stay in the background— her resurrections are strange.
To me, they change looks too much or is it photo manipulations or 2.0s.
Doubles for celebs are common. Clones are sci Fi still.
Old Joe is strange — his whole presidency is strange.
We live in a very strange world 🌎

  9. I don’t like saying his name, the less time I use on saying his name is better.
He is the great beguiler and that deadly charm has seduced and destroyed many.
I can see the lightness and darkness of people by carefully observing and using
my gut feelings. Body language, speech, mannerisms says a lot and the best cases
are Ole Joe — who has a very dark presence about him. Trump is no innocent, but
there is no dark sneakiness there. Ole Joe is creepy in many ways, Trump is
bloviating in your face, but open— their styles are total opposite.
There are so many fake FALSE preachers / pastors and they copy him using beguilement.
The Tv evangelists who rose to fame and were disgraced took many naive peoples’ monies.
Time is never on MAN’s side because it always reveals who and what is done in the end.
There is only good and evil, the gray in-between spells doubt.
The devil doesn’t have ALL the TIME either, his is measured by his CREATOR — GOD.

    1. I must add this is an excellent account and a powerful reminder of him.
All of these scriptures are precise and I thank you 🙏 Diane for clearly
spelling out the most important encounters ever — the beguiler and our Lord, Jesus.
Jesus is the only ONE who was never beguiled by him.

    1. This, JP, is the most relevant comment on this blog in weeks!! It’s so helpful and pertinent to this ‘storm’ we’re in! Thank you for your great wisdom interpreting this simple gospel of the Kingdom
      of God!!
As Dianne sometimes comments, this did NOT make my head hurt!!😂

    2. That last phrase, (when you can), is key; for there are many who will drag you down with them if you aren’t careful. May we have the wisdom to recognize them, lest we perish also.
