Here is the Wisdom of Solomon as a free audio on Librovox. The app is a great source of free classical audio recordings.

  2. Hi Dianne,

This article is not linking correctly to the previous article.

It is currently linking to: President Trump Is Making a Very Bold Statement…

It should be linking to: And the “Script of the Year Award” goes to ….?

  3. Thank you for quoting Solomon’s writings on wisdom, and for mentioning the other books, like Enoch, Jasher.

God gave David’s son Solomon such amazing insight, more than just the book of Proverbs. I look forward to re-reading these other books again.
Our neighborhood Bible study starts with Daniel this week, and in introducing the book, I’m quoting from Ezekiel, where God gave examples of who was considered righteous. Daniel, of course, and Noah and Job (Ezekiel 14), and also Melchizadek, an Old Testament picture of Jesus Christ.

But now you’ve got me thinking about also making a list of those who were considered wise. Solomon, Enoch, along with a few quotes from Wisdom that you’ve shared above.
That would be a great way to point our group over to these books of Solomon, Enoch, Jasher, Proverbs, etc. , to read and enjoy. And the fact that God describes Wisdom as feminine will be an eye-opener for them all!

Lastly, a verse from Wisdom chapter 5 above reminded me of Trump:
“Then shall the righteous man stand in great boldness before the face of such as have afflicted him”
    That is happening right now.

God bless you Dianne! What a wonderful ministry you are sharing with us!
