In an RT article they stated that Volodin claimed that “collected taxes form only 40% of the country’s budget,” more than 60% of which covers military spending. Ukraine’s monthly deficit amounts to $5 billion, and “UKRAINE IS BANKRUPT!”
The same numbers were reported on Friday by the Wall Street Journal. According to Oleg Ustenko, a presidential adviser on economic issues, Ukraine’s state budget deficit is expected to reach $50 billion by the end of the year.
