Thank you for this post honoring our military on Memorial Day weekend, Dianne. I’d like to recognize my dad (R.I.P.) who was a sailor in the Navy during WWII. My day suffered from bipolar and had a major manic breakdown in the Navy. He was released with an honorable discharge. I’m grateful that all those years ago, in spite of the societal stigma that has often swirled around mental health issues, my dad still received the dignity and respect for serving his country and got honorably discharged. Based on the circumstances, it could have been a dishonorable release… so, I’m thankful for the decisions of his superiors and how God had his hand on him all those years ago. May all those who serve our country and who deal with mental health issues receive the medical care and respect they so greatly deserve.

Will the people in mases say no, NO and that they don’t consent to being chattel NOPE!
