I am sure Ted Cruz will still be shouting how he is the only one who can beat Trump, even though he won zero states last night. After all, no one is supposed to look at the fact that his second place status is anything but that of a front runner, even if it is only in his own minds eye and that of Glenn Beck.
The fact is Cruz is not electable and even though he may have the constitution memorized in his head, he fails on understanding how to deliver his beliefs in constitutional rights for all citizens as we all witnessed on Friday March 11th, 2016. From Ted’s own mouth we heard him proclaim Trump and his supporters at fault for creating unrest with his statements toward the extreme left radical protestors who favored a different opinion and ideals that were more along the line of those projected by Bernie Sanders.
Whether Cruz believed this was a golden opportunity to slam Trump and his supporters or whether it was just another part of lying Cruz taking another cheap shot…the fact remains he said what he said and it was not in line with the first amendment rights to all citizens.
So as to be expected, like a worn out record, Ted is still shouting his claim that he is beating Trump and the only one who can beat Hillary, as though that is some sort of sound argument with any more clout than Carly Fiorina’s gender based one? To me they both sound exactly alike – in more ways than one when you add the nasal whine.
Let Cruz be Cruz and let Trump be Trump. America will decide who they want to follow. I, for one, am following a bold, strong leader who whether you like how he says things or not – he tells the truth and has “we the people” in mind first and foremost!
Trump is the next president of the United States of America!
