20 thoughts on “Mark Taylor and Spirits”

  1. The doctrine of the Nicolaitans. Nicolaitan means to conquer the common people. Nico – to conquer. laitan – laity, common people. the doctrine of the Nicolaitans is where the clergy is exalted over the laity. In other words a priest class, or a pastor that has power over your salvation. It is where a common person is told that he or she is either subject to the clergy, or is not able to understand the word of God.

Many churches today are Nicolaitan in this respect. They will claim that unless you know greek or Hebrew, then you are not able to understand the true word of God. The common person is then told that they must believe what the clergy proclaims since the clergy knows greek and Hebrew.

The other form of Nicolaitanism is Roman Catholicism where the priest has control over your salvation. You must confess to the priest and He has the ability to absolve you of your sins. This is obviously wicked, but it is the pure example of Nicolaitanism.

God did institute the local church with Pastors and Deacons, so to rebel against the church is to rebel against God’s direct institution. but a Pastor and a church do not have the scriptural right to bring you into bondage to them.

This is why it is so very important that you have the inerrant word of God for yourself. With the inerrant word of God in your possession you have the ability to remain free, for the truth shall make you free. With the inerrant word of God you have the ability to judge all things. The word of God states in 1 For 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all tings… You must have the word of God in order to do that. Without the inerrant word of God you have no power, you have no ability to judge properly, and you have no weapon to fight with.

The King James 1611, (not the new King James), is the inerrant word of God. With that you have authority, freedom and you can break free from Nicolaitanism.

    God bless,

    1. The following verses are missing in an NIV and most of the modern apostate versions. Even though they are found in 95% of all Greek manuscripts.

Virtually all modern versions are translated from Nestle’s corrupt greek text. But even the received texts don’t agree with each other. And there are no original texts available today. The original Isaiah, Gospel of John, and all of the books of the Bible, the original is not in existence. Either God kept his word and preserved for us the inerrant word of God or else we have nothing.

Remember Satan’s first words in the Bible: Yeah, hath God said… HIs first tactic is to cause doubt upon what God said.

Matthew 17:21: “Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.”
Matthew 18:11: “For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.”
Matthew 23:14: “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.”
Mark 7:16: “If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.”
Mark 9:44: “Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.”
Mark 9:46: “Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.”
Mark 11:26: “But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
Mark 15:28: “And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.”
Luke 17:36: “Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.”
John 5:4: “For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.” Acts 8:37: “And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”
Acts 15:34: “Notwithstanding it pleased Silas to abide there still.”
Acts 24:7: “But the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with great violence took him away out of our hands,”
Acts 28:29: “And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, and had great reasoning among themselves.”
Romans 16:24: “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”
I John 5:7: “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”

      1. Received texts are texts such as Beza, Erasmus, Collinaeus, Elzevir, Stephanus and so on.

  2. The mega churches are like hospitals to me.Everyone running around trying to get you well, but never taking the time to find out if you are sick.Never taking the time to see what you need .People don’t get close enough to touch your Spirit. They give you platitudes like pills and this is considered their Christian duty. Our duty to each other is to walk daily in God’s Love and give to His Family. While receiving His Love.We are to accept what we need while giving to others what they need.It is an Eternal commitment to His Family and His Oneness.

  3. I continue to pray and wait on the Lord. I try to b careful who I listen to. Sometimes it is overwhelming. I say give your money to your home church and to the people you know that need the help. I believe in tithing. In giving to God what He has so graciously given to me. He only asks for 10% of our income. So I try to spread it to the places that need my help the most. I’ve never felt comfortable with these mega churches so I’ve never attended them. Who am I to judge. I leave that to God. However, I do believe we’re called to discern and try the spirits. I also believe ALL lies will be revealed in the end and the end is approaching faster everyday.

  4. Wow! I learned alot in this post! Thank you
Of the guidance and research portion. The scripture readings I understand so much better. There is so much love in this post♥️🛐

  5. Keep in mind this is the dawning of the age of Aquarius !

    oh wait what is February?

    were we are?

    food for thought!

you can only help those who want to help themselves!!

  6. Just wondering when this troubadour table discussion took place? I know that Paul Oebel had been in the hospital fighting for his life…. Just prayed for him in Melissa Leggett’s Strike Force Prayer.. thank you for the date this was made

    1. That was made December 10th I believe. At least that is when it was released and they had just made it. So are you saying Paul is sick now? If so, wonder what is going on. Lots of strange things in the midst of all this.

  7. Great video. I’ve listened to Mark Taylor for a few years now, and I respect what he shares with regard to the insight he receives from the Lord, and the criticism of the 501(c)3 structure of today’s churches in the US. The 501(c)3 arrangement was established in the early 1950’s, and was pushed through Congress by Texas Senator Lyndon Johnson. As Mark Taylor summarizes, about 10 years later (1960’s) prayer was removed from schools. Ten years after that, abortions were allowed under Roe v Wade.

Example — I have asked many times at many churches why we don’t deal with a statistic that is quite shocking in our country — 3,000 deaths a day. People ask, “What is it?” and more recently, “Is it the corona thing?”

The answer is, “abortions, every single day. 3,000 yesterday, another 3,000 today, and on and on.”
    The response? Crickets.

A dear friend who is a pastor in his 70’s, once told me that the original church started in home groups, and it will finish in home groups. After many experiences in mega churches, I am ready to see that happen. Meeting needs of neighbors, being in the word of God, praying for discernment, and sharing the Gospel with others who, in the not too distant future, will probably be hungry for something substantial from God, given all that is happening in our world today.

If that’s how it plays out, and worldly chaos puts people on a search for God, I would like to be prepared for that, so I can welcome others into a home that loves the Lord, studies His Word, looks to Him for strength.

    John832

    1. Great words John. Not all churches are 501c3 mega churches though. There are small churches, at least in the area I live, that are not 501c3. Are they perfect? No but they believe in worshiping in Spirit and Truth. Repentance of sins and Salvation through the preached Word of God. By a man that is called of God.

      1. I’m so blessed to be in a church as you described, JP… Spirit filled, Spirit led, and filled with lots of every day people, who are working together to break free from chains that bind them…yes, sinners trying to stop sinning, and attaining victory in Jesus’ name. The Lord just led me to this church last Aug… Wow! He knows what we need and then he delivers. PTL!! ⛪. May we all find a church family that we can meet with weekly, face-to-face, not screen-to-screen. God made us to need real life encounters with each other. And yet, it’s the enemy who wants to shut down our churches and keep us isolated at home. There’s no word in the Bible that justifies only “screen-to-screen” interaction. I’m with the pastor John832 mentioned…home church groups will be wonderful someday soon. Talk about real intimacy among believers… Amazing!! ⛪🙏

    2. Amen, John832! About the local churches addressing the tragedy of abortions…. I’ve witnessed my county’s churches stepping up for years to address abortions. How? Through opening up church sponsored Pregnancy Help Centers. These are faith-based and pro-life facilities where women can go for pregnancy counseling and a whole slew of support. Church members around the community run these centers. Some sit on the boards, others counsel the clients, nurses and doctors volunteer their time, some administer ultrasounds, some volunteer time in the free store (filled with baby clothes, baby items, food, etc,), some men counsel the new dad’s and mentor them, and some organize fundraisers…. And, the majority of funding comes from people in the local church. ALL of these steps are saving unborn babies lives. When one baby is saved, one less abortion is performed. Sometimes, I get concerned that we (meaning all of us) are so adamant about pointing out all the wrong going on around us, that it blurs our vision to see all that is right and happening all around us. God is so much bigger than all the “wrongs” we seem to love focusing on. I wonder how he feels when we overlook his mighty move on our behalf. John832, I wonder if there are Pregnancy Help Centers in your community. My guess is YES. I pray the answer is YES.

  8. Thank you for sharing this! Previous to 2020, I was hoping to find a church to attend. Now I know why God never led my husband and I to any congregation. I would never have been able to see the truth. I’m so glad God is leading me little by little to truth constantly. I see so many who don’t understand or realize any of this. Even when trying to share truth with others they still don’t get it. I keep pressing in as best I can though. Love to read these articles and comments from this community!

  9. One thing that always bothered my about the mega churches. You walk in and they had you a program guide. It states at this time in the service so and so will lead a Special prayer. Then at this exact time so and so will sing a Special song. Then at this exact minute the pastor will deliver the message. A lot of those messages are from the internet not from God.
All of this is pre-planned by man. It takes worshiping in spirit and truth right out of it. I guess that is to prevent anything from being said that might break the rules of the 501c3 agreement. If some widow or person who once was addicted to drugs were to stand up and say, during the planned event, ‘Hold on! I’ve got a testimony. Let tell you how God has changed my life for the better.’ Then proceed to do so. I guarantee that would not be welcomed because it was not pre-planned.
Over 20 plus yrs ago my wife and I were looking for a church home in the area we had just moved to. We went to a mega church near by for the morning service. It was exactly as I described above. Pre planned to the minute. Even the fellowship was limited to those behind and beside you. You were told what to tell them when you shook their hand.
That same afternoon I was flipping through the TV channels and came across a mega church service in TX.
That pastor had the exact same sermon as the one we attended that morning! Word for word putting the same emphasis at certain points of his message. They got them from somewhere. Man planned God’s spirt bound.
I like it when the preached says ‘God put this on my heart out by the Tater shed while I was there praying yesterday’. ‘All I know to do is follow it’.
    But thats just me. Smile
