It does build the immune system…and laughing at lies helps us see the truth! We can see ourselves and others for what they are, depending on how it’s done. But when it is to be done…that is the challenge of discernment.
While video songs like this help us to laugh at the irony of our plight and many believe it’s good to laugh in the face of the enemy….how do we know if this is for us to do? Are we to go about laughing at every one we believe or have judged as an enemy? Or are we to have God laugh at the enemy?
“But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.” – Psalm 59:8 KJV
This is the discernment of the day….how do we know when it is good for us to laugh at the enemy? Well, if someone is pointing a gun at you threatening you, I would discern that is not a good time to laugh at the enemy. Laughter may provoke the trigger being pulled very quickly.
Where we laugh at songs like the one above, and the memes, and it lifts our spirits by seeing the weakness of ourselves and of the enemy that point out the flaws of believing mere men who are following their own circus folly…we must not take our eyes off of the seriousness of the spiritual warfare we are in.
That being said, there is a type of humorous ridiculing can help to counter the fake news propaganda they are feeding into our minds. I look at it as a counter mind control. Memes and humor to undo the fear factors they are trying to reprogram us into believing. It can be a good counter to the fear mongering…!
The enemy is definitely doing everything in its power to create fear, anger, frustration, hate, and divide us with lies and more lies. All to discourage us with their doom and gloom self fulling prophecies. So countering the lies by pointing out the folly in them with laughter, is a much needed mind cleanse from the fear factor they are planting at every turn.
KEEPING IT STRAIGHT…
When we look at the Word of God it speaks of Him laughing at the enemy. And we rejoice and praise God for his avenging us.
“He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.” – Psalms 2:4 KJV
“The Lord shall laugh at him for he seeth that his day is coming”. – Psalms 37:13 KJV
.“But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.” – Psalm 59:8 KJV
Now there are many ways we can rationalize this with our intellect…for example we can say, well the Lord is in us and we in Him, therefore we can laugh too….but is that really what we are to do in a spiritual warfare heated up battle? Discernment is to be applied. There is a time and place for all things. There is a season to laugh and reknew our strength, and a season to be vigilant and on our guard. In this prolonged litteral open attack on all humanity…meaning one we can all see and it is hammering at us at every turn with lie after lie after lie, and bodily threats that mean life and death! Prayer, rejoicing, praise, encouragement, and laughter are most needed, and required to strengthen one another. Wisdom of when and how to apply our laughter is definitely to be discerned. Laughing at the folly and pointing it out such as the folly of fake news is empowering. Especially when we are censored at every turn from our voice of truth.
Truth is often found in humor as we see ourselves and situations and our responses for what they actually are. That is why we laugh. We don’t laugh because someone actually had a tragedy, we laugh at the way we believed the lie of the tragedy and behaved so unwisely. When someone mocks the strange thing…we are often able to finally see the truth and in so doing we expose the lies and the liars.
Example:

Some humor isn’t really funny at all, but it points out the wickedness and the deceit. And some humor is funny because we have seen the same stupidity from those who are alledgedly professionals in real life! We laugh because we know it is true that they think we are that stupid!
It is clear we are to proudly boast of what the Lord God can do for us as the example of David when he slayed Goliath. We are also to praise God for deliverance when the giant is slayed and his head cut off. David didn’t laugh, he boldly proclaimed the power of God Almighty and when the Lord gave him the victory, he gave the praise and thanks to the same Lord God all powerful! He did not dance around with the head and laugh.
Using Discernment In God’s Word
There is a time to laugh and a time to be solemn. Taking all things before the Lord asking for discernment is a must in these perilous times. The full armor of God does not list laughter as one of the weapons against principalities and powers of darkness. We are to be armed with the full armor of God as stated in Ephesians 6.
The Full Armor of God
Ephesians 6:10-17
10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
And Pray Continually
Ephesians 6:18-20
18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Discernment will show us that this day we are at war with the enemy of this world. It is a time to pray for discernment, and to keep our truth held high. Lift one another’s spirits and laugh to do so. But to go up to let’s say, ANTIFA or a TERRORIST and laugh at them, is not wise, and not a message of the Lord. It is God who laughs at the enemy. And when he takes the enemy down…we give thanks and praise rejoicing for God has avenged us!
1 Thessalonians 5:13-19
13And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. And be at peace among yourselves. 14Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. 15See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. 16Rejoice evermore. 17Pray without ceasing. 18In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19Quench not the Spirit.
Again we are to rejoice and know that God is laughing at the enemy! We are to pray without ceasing and in everything give thanks. Laughing yes and keeping spirits high…but in Spiritual Warfare we are to refrain from dishing out evil for evil. God will move the kings to send out the armies to destroy the enemies. He shall fight with them as he did in the days of the kings as he says in Zechariah.
Zechariah 14:1-3
1Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
So keep on pressing forward, press, press, press….and laugh a little along the way at the upside down for knowing the enemy has thought we mindless sheep and failed to realize we have the power of the Holy Spirit to show us discernment in all things…and to comfort us in knowing the lies and giving us the mindset to discern when it is time to laugh and when it is time to be somber, praying unceasing, rejoicing always and praising God who laughs at the enemy!

Like 5x’s August & j.p. & “stand by me”
Made my day.
Your discernment messages get deeper and deeper, better and better. Thank you for each one–and for Benny King’s Stand By Me, all that Father Guides us to do. Stay on the Side of Father. And we are. I Pray Heavenly Father keeps Blessing you and keeping you safe.
I’m encouraged about what God is doing right now, especially when I realize that these two quotes are right on target for today – –
I’m laughing at the fact that God is laughing at those who mock Him. This is going to be fun to watch.

Fica comigo, JJ, and I will stand by you. This song is like an old wine….it gets better with time. Thank you! And, God bless you for this awesome share.
In addition to laughter, another great immune builder (for those who want all that God has to offer) is “praying in the Spirit.”.
Jude 1:20
But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit.
Romans 8:26
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.

Ecclesiastes 10
New International Version
10 As dead flies give perfume a bad smell,
so a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor.
2 The heart of the wise inclines to the right,
but the heart of the fool to the left.
3 Even as fools walk along the road,
they lack sense
and show everyone how stupid they are.
4 If a ruler’s anger rises against you,
do not leave your post;
calmness can lay great offenses to rest.
5 There is an evil I have seen under the sun,
the sort of error that arises from a ruler:
6 Fools are put in many high positions,
while the rich occupy the low ones.
7 I have seen slaves on horseback,
while princes go on foot like slaves.
8 Whoever digs a pit may fall into it;
whoever breaks through a wall may be bitten by a snake.
9 Whoever quarries stones may be injured by them;
whoever splits logs may be endangered by them.
10 If the ax is dull
and its edge unsharpened,
more strength is needed,
but skill will bring success.
11 If a snake bites before it is charmed,
the charmer receives no fee.
12 Words from the mouth of the wise are gracious,
but fools are consumed by their own lips.
13 At the beginning their words are folly;
at the end they are wicked madness—
14 and fools multiply words.
No one knows what is coming—
who can tell someone else what will happen after them?
15 The toil of fools wearies them;
they do not know the way to town.
16 Woe to the land whose king was a servant[a]
and whose princes feast in the morning.
17 Blessed is the land whose king is of noble birth
and whose princes eat at a proper time—
for strength and not for drunkenness.
18 Through laziness, the rafters sag;
because of idle hands, the house leaks.
19 A feast is made for laughter,
wine makes life merry,
and money is the answer for everything.
20 Do not revile the king even in your thoughts,
or curse the rich in your bedroom,
because a bird in the sky may carry your words,
and a bird on the wing may report what you say.
Dianne sorry for being so long
but long was this day of the wicked
Will we ever listen to his message
