So what is Matt Gaetz trying to pull here with his Never Kevin?
Are we watching a show here with actors from casting central? It sure is looking like it. One commentator said it is the politics behind the politics… and some are saying that by holding out that is what matters the most. Standing by one’s principles that if they don’t want McCarthy then they won’t vote for him. It is beginning to look more like the old “If I can play neither can you” type of democracy junk. Whatever the intentions, like it or not, these actions led by Gaetz are tying the hands of the republicans so they can’t go forward and start correcting the mess for We The People! Grandstanding with some half arse idea he devised in his own little head or teamed up with someone elses!
Some have said that the hold outs are doing what their constituents want. I haven’t heard anyone say “my constituents said or my constituents want” me to do something like this – at least not yet. Or maybe I missed something?
Meanwhile Marjorie Taylor Green gave us all the big fat clue!
Marjorie Taylor Green has cleared up the reason why Jordon does NOT WANT TO BE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE. He wants to head the Judiciary Committee. This places Matt Gaetz in a very bad position. In fact it raises many questions and this is not going to be good for him. I smell a RINO in the house. A big fat RINO!
So, Jim Jordan wants to head the Judiciary and lead the investigations into the FBI and DOJ. As Speaker he would not be able to do this. What Gaetz is doing is taking the star player and tieing his hands…in sports he would be benching him in the dug out! The question to ask is….”Why would Gaetz be doing that?”
Meanwhile, Chip Roy, of Texas described a different scenario to the press. He is painting a rather strong arm picture. That type of picture always works to sway the minds of conservatives and MAGA people who are sick and tired of all the bully pits. But is it the real reason he is swaying and acting like a road block?
Roy said McCarthy was strong arming them to vote for him. That left a bad taste in his mouth and also had the opposite affect on the ones whose arms he tried twisting. He seems to be in on something with Gaetz.
Chip Roy said, ” You have to have some people on the rules committee, otherwise you have a problem with the decision making and the people here we just talked about. They said, “By the way, everyone who was in on that conference meeting this morning said, ‘Oh we like the rules. Good job. Chip and you guys worked hard for the rules. And then, at the end they said, if you don’t vote for McCarthy, we are going to get rid of the rules. It’s a game. That’s a game.” Meanwhile, remember Chip Roy voted to let Biden keep all of his stolen votes! He was also called out as a RINO by others.
Remember in May of 2021 President Trump released a statement of condemnation regarding Chip Roy the Rep from Austin, Texas and reiterated his endorsement for Elise Stefanik, Roy’s rival for the post.

I have heard some good arguments for why the politics. But not any good arguments for what will happen if they lose the Speaker of the House to Jeffries. I’m waiting to hear the arguments of how if they lose the Speaker position to the Democrates how that will be good. Or if they continue to waste valuable time how that works well for the people?
It could be part of the chess game, like the part where it is a stale mate? What happens then? Game over and start again? What do they do?
What of the part where they break the rules? What rules are those and how will they break them? Will they expose a few bad apples?
Some are praising the ones holding out and some are swearing at them.
As I said, I am for Jordan for that position, but, Jordan is supporting McCarthy. And now we know why Jordan doesn’t want to be Speaker of the House. His hands will be tied and he will not be able to do what he does best, and fight for truth. Which can be confusing because isn’t that why Gaetz said he wanted Jordan to be Speaker? Didn’t pea brain Gaetz say Jordan has displayed excellent skills in fighting for his causes? So why then would Gaetz want to seat him in the dug out?
It is looking like a coup. Gaetz, Boebart, and Chip Roy. What do think of all this? Why was Gaetz chumming it up with AOC?
Pictures speak a thousand words even though there is no voice here, I am going to stick with my first gut feeling and say…. Gaetz is up to no good!
So, we will see what takes place tomorrow. Meanwhile, here are some other peoples view on the subject.
Maybe something’s up …. and maybe it’s good and maybe it’s not? Many of us had no idea of the story behind the show we were presented today. They sure made everything look a lot different than it was. Never let grandstanding an ego get in the way of “the art of the deal”. Gaetz is looking very bad right now as he often does.

We are now talking about the 3rd most powerful position in the US government. Some 8000 filings are presented to the Court each year. Only a couple of hundred make it to conference. The SCOTUS court clerk went to extra effort to insure the Brunson filing was complete (w/ additional exhibits) and filed in an expedited manor so it could make it to conference. Minor point – 385 in Congress were served along with Biden, Harris, and Pence for the 388 total.
How did McCarthy vote Jan 6, 2020? Did he vote to table the investigation? No, he voted against tabling the investigation which could put him (or whoever) as Speaker temporarily in charge of the Country if SCOTUS upholds the Constitution. Just a Thought.
My personal opinion is that McCarthy is too compromised (big tech) and too weak to be Speaker. Part of the Swamp. He doesn’t have the right stuff for these times. I have to Disagree with my favorite President on this one. It’s a risky gambit but may be well worth the risk. Besides – “When you plot to kill the king, you had better be successful!” Gates & Co. have made their play. I don’t see how they can back down now.
SCOTUS has been threatened by Schumer, Pelosi, and the Biden administration with Packing, term limits, and the impeachment of Justice Thomas. The Justice Dept Failed to protect their homes from demonstrators and the thwarted assassination attempt on Justice Kavanaugh had to be intimidating.
What better way to ‘Drain the Swamp” Holding their feet to the fire regarding their oaths to the Constitution?!? It would be POETIC.

And with each no vote thereafter I saw the Jeffries speaker of the house holding his gavel. That was my aggravation. But, then… it has to fall and be exposed. But then again… at the expense of the people suffering for their sins and evilness, and that is what I was aggravated the most by. But, then again… what’s two more years or 40 of this mess? It is what it is. If not this mess there will be other messes. So warn others and watch them all go down.

I do NOT believe Gaetz is a Rino at all. I do believe he is exposing McCarthy for what he really is. He is the rino and we the people don’t want him! We don’t need the same ol same ol…we the people want change. I’m really hoping Maccarthy backs out and we will get someone like Gaetz, Roy or Jordan in there. Then there would be change!! I really don’t think that there really would be change. More hopium. The whole lot of them are corrupt as hell IMO. We’ve been bamboozled for years and years with their political shenanigans. We need to drain the swamp which means the majority of them. President Trump even stated that the swamp was worse than he thought. I think that he already knew and that he stated that for our benefit.
There is no doubt that McCarthy is a full blown adult RINO. The thing I see that can happen is they lose the Speaker position by their infighting and get some other Republican RINOS so ticked off they vote for Jeffries who only needs six more votes and their little no vote game is over and they lose the entire Speaker and can change NOTHING DO NOTHING AND GOD JUST MAY GIVE THEM THAT BIG FAT NOTHING. When and or if that happens … none of the congress will be safe to walk down the street. This is about to blow up in their faces. Trump warned them and they aren’t listening. Remember Boebert has NO EXPERIENCE. She was elected in 2020 and Trump called her today and told her to support McCarthy and start governing… before they lose the chance to… and she told him no. She is doing it her way. I’m sure Gaetz said the same and any others he may have called. Because of that… they will fail. This is not the art of negotiating nor the art of war. They will die on their battle field. That is what concerns me. We will see how this unfolds. So far it is very bad moves being made today. Very bad.

You are right! However, if even one RINO voted with the Dems his political career would be over! My bet is that there is no way to get 6. This is a SWAMP power play. Boebert is cute (perhaps upcoming) firebrand. Eye candy for optics, but no dummy. I believe like Gaetz. McCarthy Can’t Be Trusted. Too much is coming down the pike for a weakling like him. McCarthy showed his true colors behind closed doors and threatened his opposing Congressmen rather than finesse a coalition. The point here is that those Pelosi, totalitarian, tactics are no longer effective. McCarthy’s failure to find a political solution as far back as October was his failure. He had months to shore this win in advance! He Is Not The One. My favorite President has to play smart and let the Congress fight it out. In the long run he will be FAR better served with a MAGA affiliated Speaker. My guess is that they will continue to suggest other candidates and at the right time put Scalice in when the tide for change turns. How’s that for a WAG.

We have seen election integrity and our justice system all doing the opposite of what they were designed to do with no consequences. While I am not sure what is going on, I can understand the sentiments of the conservatives. Yet putting the leadership of the House at risk to allow Democrats to control would be a major problem. It would turn the limited victory of winning the House into a defeat if Democrats get the Speakership.

I think only 4 judges have to vote / agree in their conference on the 6th to hear the case…and then set a date to hear the case.
If 4 vote yes…..will the case even make it to the set hearing date….or will that trigger the shit to hit the fan?
