Just a question…
Isaiah 26:20-21 was quoted at the top of this article and I have heard/seen many “Christians” use these verses as a type of defense. They believe that they are to “hide away” or withdraw to remain safe. God’s judgments are NOT for His children, but for His enemies. Can not God protect His own?? Do we have to cower away and hide as it were or are we to shout from the mountaintops and sound the alarm? How do we “blow the shofar” to warn others of the plans of the evil demons if we are hidden away?? Is that not like hiding your light under a bushel? Which is it that we are to do??
That scripture is about the day of the Lord….the same as Jesus told us about these times. We are not to go out as ANTIFA into the chaos. But to refrain from that and go inside for a while as the wrath is poured out. For we were not, as you said appointed to wrath, but to grace. We are as watchmen to warn others. Preceding that verse are words of praise and warning.
Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.
3Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
4Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
5For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.
6The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.
7The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.
8Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.
9With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
10Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.
11LORD, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.
12LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.
13O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.
14They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.
(for you see this is the time of chastisement that those who have gone astray shall return, and the wicked shall have a time to turn from their evil ways and change. If they will? It is a time of mercy for those who seek it.)
15Thou hast increased the nation, O LORD, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.
16LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.
( here we see a returning and a changing of many who were not seeing and now are. This is a time of eyes opening.)
17Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD.
18We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen. (We are at or approaching this point of deliverence. As we see things escalating to a point of constant turmoil)
19Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
20Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. (and these words are followed immediately by deliverence. Remember there were no chapter and verses in the original Word. All the words flowed. So in chapter 27 verse 1 it continues to say…our Lord has stepped out to punish the evil serpent, the dragon Satans in the sea of humanity that does great evil. It is in that moment we are to go inside…the moment of the wrath. We are not, as you said, appointed to it. )
1In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
2In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of red wine.
3I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day. (The Lord will bless Israel, and all Israel).

Thank you for your reply! I am aware of these verses…my comment was a rhetorical question. As I shared, there have been quite a few different people whom have decided to “hide away” during this time and have abandoned their own little flocks which God has given to them. So I pondered…how does one hide away and yet sound the alarm at the same time??

I love this one! And that clip of Alex Jones sums up how I feel. I have his videos from way back early 2000’s analyzing false flags (like the one which happened 20 yrs ago). I disagree with Stew that this was not an “act of God”, when ALL things are in His control. The sign of God taking his restraining hand off of evil is IN OUR FACES.
