Ben Carson became a Republican just 6 months before he announced he was running for president! Carson had talked a lot of being political minded and expressed in an interview that he had considered running for some type of public office when in Baltimore back in 2002. Funny though that his voting record doesn’t match up with his passion for politics for according to the Baltimore County Board of Elections, despite registering to vote in that county in 2001, as an independent, Carson only voted in the general elections of 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2012 — and never in any primaries. 
Where is the media on this issue? We certainly have seen the battery ram thumping at Trump for his past Democratic stances.
That being said, the more troubling issue is the sanctuary city of Baltimore where he was a grounded activist for the black community. He was interlaced within their school systems, their community projects, the John Hopkins Hospital, and the Municipal Court Systems. After the Baltimore riots it became public knowledge that Court judges had regularly issued, as part of a sentence to those found guilty, a court order to read Dr. Ben Carson’s book. Baltimore school teachers had regularly invoked Carson’s name and troubled childhood past in attempts to control students with anger issues.
How nobel right? It can be, but obviously all that didn’t amount to a hill of fruit loops. The angered youth and the crime in Baltimore continued to rise. It never made a dent. And now Carson is speaking a lot on the campaign trail about implementing his ideas (the same as his Baltimore experiment) to address angry minorities if he becomes president.
Trump has it right, get people jobs and help the black community earn a living. Show them the way out through action, not soft talk. For at the end of the day if you were starving at noon and still have not eaten, you are starving when you go to bed. (Replace the word starving with any word you choose. Be creative, it will apply.)
Carson’s voting record and change of voting status really explains the anger he is receiving from his old town of Baltimore. They call him a sell out, and many people are now angry that teachers used Carson as an example to their students. Various articles of which I linked one in an earlier article are very embarrassing for Carson. Even Attorney Gordon who took the cases of many of those arrested in Baltimore said Carson was a sell out, and done in Baltimore. Especially after he went during the riots with his low energy speech to advise the rioters to study and stay in school. That fell flat. So flat Carson could apply his own medical term here, it ” flat-lined”.
To most in Baltimore his reputation as one of them is over and he is a sell out. Well that got me wondering…what was he preaching for them to now believe he has sold them out? Sooner or later, that will surface too. I do know this from their own words in the article I wrote previously (link below)- they believe he is talking a whole lot different than he did before he announced he was running for president.

Many of us who were liberal in the past have now become much more conservative. I believe it comes with age and life experience. It’s possible Dr. Carson was a registered independent and therefore could not vote in primaries in Maryland.

The entire premise that because he registered as an independent that he must concur with the platform of the Florida independency party is retarded. This is a smear campaign. I myself was a democrat all my life until the far left socialists took over. Back then there was balance and cooperation amongst ladies and gentlemen politicians across the isles in power and business got done. Okay, but about his voting history – if he was registered as an Independent, the only way he COULD vote is any Primary would be if there were Independents on the ticket in that primary. At least this has been true where I worked elections in New York and Oklahoma. maybe it’s different in other states, but in my experience, you can only vote your party in a Primary. So – were there Independents on the ticket in the primaries in which he did not vote?
I was an independent until I registered Republican. I have read a lot about Dr. Carson and never saw anything about him being a liberal let alone a flaming liberal. I still like Dr. Carson and do not believe all this BS. Give it a few more weeks and all kind of fake crap will come out about Trump. There are a lot of people who don’t want either of them in the race so they are going to do all they can to dirty their names.

The book is about him being a poor, angry black kid that overcame his background and nature and became an successful honerable man who helps people. Now, I ask….what is wrong with that?

His stance on the second amendment has been all over the place, same as his right to life stance, his vaccine stance, his sustainable development stance and his stance on immigration. Carson is backed big by Americans For Prosperity which is nothing more than a corporate front group for Koch Industries and other big business interests, who have successfully duped citizens into fighting the battles of corporate America to give them a “grassroots” brigade. Carson attended the beg for Koch donor money thingy like all the others who were hungry for funding. Same as John Philip Sousa IV who took over the Teaparty grass roots to do the same. Sousa got Carson his main donors and raised over 30 million dollars for him to run on the GOP ticket. When Sousa began raising the funds, Carson registered Republican. He may have needed some buck from a source in the establishment to get started but who cares! Look at his words and beliefs! He is not beholden to anyone. I had spoken earlier that at first I really liked Carson and felt he would make a great VP as Trump displayed, (to me) the strength that was needed to go up against the machine known as the establishment (which is a multi headed monster to devour our constitutional rights and to give full reign to greed at all levels, not to mention its’ global desires). My family was leaning toward Carson because of the same Christian words and all his God references. His soft spoken voice of reason. Then the real issues were presented and he was falling short. Now there have been a myriad of issues brought forth. it is like this. I was never a Trump fan. I never watched the apprentice except a few times when I was at my daughters house. I thought it was silly. I thought Trump was a blow hard and really did not see any big deal in him at all. My point is, I listened to the candidates and what they were saying. It was his policy format that attracted me to Trump when he announced his run. At the first debate, I liked Carson. I thought he was very humble and very nice. Yet, there was something. In a room of family watching the debates, I was the only one sold on Trump even through the horrible drill When it was over the family all leaned toward Carson, and some undecided. I understood the big issues and his threat to the establishment that wants a global governance so I stood strong. I kept vetting and researching Trump to make sure I was right and not just wanting something. I have yet to find the fault other than his roller coaster ride while he yelled back at his attackers. Of whom all attacked first, even though the media told it differently. I followed Carson close as he was my second choice. I was soon disappointed. That is the truth. Today, I am very nervous about him because he is being found out to not be who he presented himself to be at all. That is the truth. I actually worry that Trump will win and have him as a VP. I think he is leaning toward that direction. I believe it would be Trump’s big mistake. But, that is what I believe.
And not a mistake to be elected, but a mistake once in office.

Carson is holding his own ax. He says he was a flaming liberal, then when he heard Reagan speak he thought, gee this guy isn’t all bad so republicans must not be all the bad evil things I have heard. He said it was at that time that he decided he was ?????? He never said. He only said he thought Reagan wasn’t as bad as he had thought before and he liked his ideas. So we won’t fill in the blanks here when Carson himself did not. Yet he did say it was then that he became conservative. But, both his resume, and his actions prove that to be just not true. For he did not stop any of his progressive actions, nor his activities nor associations. Because in the end Baltimore will applaud him and you will remorseful, for no man can leave his true core value convictions for long. They will return to them as soon as they have the chance. So……that being said. Vote for the man and reap what you have sown. I am a Trump person and I want to make America Great again and it don’t take a brain surgeon to figure out what we need. You will see, he never really changed, he just said he did to run.

There are many who support Carson, as I did at first too. I thought he would make a good VP pick for Trump. I have since learned many things to go along with the uneasy feeling in my gut. I will also say this, “IF TRUMP SPOKE LIKE CARSON, I WOULD NOT BE VOTING FOR HIM EITHER.” I am for the one who will help save America, not continue the same path to destruction.

Curious how a Republican would believe 1) a hit piece put out by MSNBC that pretends all African Americans in Baltimore have turned against him (read that article again and note how they didn’t quote anyone who supports him) 2) that not being registered GOP somehow means you don’t believe in similar core principles 3) or that it matters if you change your mind in some arbitrary period of time. I was registered with an independent party myself for many years, having previously been GOP, and re-registered GOP so I could vote in the primaries, which is the reason he did not vote in primaries because there were none for his party! And changing your position is not a bad thing if you end up with the right position. There are many RINO’s in the GOP, Republicans In Name Only, who do not support the GOP platform but who get money from GOP, so there is no issue about “changing his platform.” He is not a party, he is a person whose opinions on certain topics were heretofore unknown–that is not a “change” in platform. And where is your documentation that he is establishment backed? How many donors does Trump have? How many does Carson have? More donors means real voters who will actually pull the lever for you in the voting booth, so I’m curious if you know the numbers on who is leading in that most important category…
